ARRANGEMENTS are being made to sell tour packages for vis­iting Mon and Kayin states, as well as Bago Region, to both domestic and foreign travellers, according to an official from Hearticraft My­anmar Travel and Tours.

 

The tour destinations in Mon and Kayin states, as well as Bago Region, will include colonial-era buildings and sites such as U Nar Auk Monastery, Kyaukthinpone Village, and Kyaiktiyo Pagoda in Mon State; caves, mountain scaling tours, and trekking des­tinations in Kayin State; and Kanbawzathadi Palace, Shweth­alyaung Pagoda, and Wingabaw Elephant Camp in Bago.

 

“The destinations for our tour packages have been finalized. All included destinations are current­ly popular with both domestic and foreign travellers. We will soon invite local travel companies to sell these packages,” said an of­ficial from Hearticraft Myanmar Travel and Tours.

 

The tour is a five-night, six-day experience, with the cost for domestic travellers, including ho­tel accommodation and meals, ranging from K1 million to K1.5 million. For foreign travellers, it will cost approximately US$600 per person. — ASH/MKKS
