Two homes were burnt to ashes in a fire in Htanpingon Ward, Thanlyan Township in Yangon Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
    

The fire believed to have been started from an overheated electric wire broke out in a house of U Kyaw Oo aka U Kyaw Thu at about 2:20 p.m. on 13 August. Firefighters from two fire services stations rushed to the scene of fire and put out the flame with the use of four fire engines in 15 minutes.
    

The blaze destroyed two homes and the house owner has been taken action by the local police over fire negligence.
