UNION Minister for Educa­tion Dr Nyunt Phay received Mr Iskander Azizov, Ambas­sador of the Russian Fed­eration to Myanmar, at the meeting room of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Both sides exchanged views on promoting cooper­ation in the education sector between Russia and Myan­mar, issues of foreign educa­tion, improving the quality of Russian language teachers and teaching Russian.

Deputy Minister for Edu­cation Dr Zaw Myint, officials, and Ms Anastasia Solovieva, the ambassador of the Rus­sian Federation to Myanmar, attended the meeting. — MNA/MKKS
