TATMADAW members who fought bravely on the frontlines and achieved successive victories were warmly welcomed upon their victorious return. A ceremony to honour and celebrate them took place on 7 November at their local battalion in Yaksawk Township.
Eastern Command Commander Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Oo, along with Tatmadaw members, family members, departmental officials, local ethnic people, and teachers, attended the event.
During the welcome, the Commander and other attendees presented the returning soldiers with sprigs of Aungthabye (Eugenia sprigs) and placed garlands upon them. Traditional drumming, singing, and dancing were also part of the celebration. — MNA/MKKS
