AS of the early monsoon this year, the visitor arrival to Hpa-an, which looks incredibly at­tractive in rains, has been still on the rise, according to res­idents.

 

Hpa-an draws visitors as tourist destination to visit in monsoon, with its natural land­scapes and hidden gems.

 

"I had taken vacation in Hpa-an twice this monsoon. It's incredibly beautiful in monsoon and can make us relaxed. Dur­ing a three-four days journey, we can visit nearly all tourist places. Hpa-an is the most fa­mous destination in this mon­soon so the visitor arrival is extremely large. There are still visitors until this month," said a visitor.

 

The majority of visitors is from Yangon, Mandalay, Maw­lamyine and nearby areas and some are from Myawady.

 

Naung Kalaine water cave, Kya-in mountain, Mount Zwegabin, Taungwyne moun­tain, Sadan Cave, Lunnya blue lake, Kawkathaung cave and swimming pool, Yathepyan cave, Kawkameik bridge and the night market are popular tourist places.

 

Hpa-an is also beautiful in winter, dry season with sea of clouds, and people have made inquires to visit in October, tour season.
