The interest of visitors in visiting sea of clouds des­tinations has increased during the cold season, accord­ing to the tourism community.

Seeing a sea of clouds in the cold season gives relaxation, and going on a sightseeing tour has been popular among young people.

“Sea of clouds can be seen in the cold season. The culture of enjoying the sea of clouds has been popular among young people. And they like to see the beautiful landscape with clouds in the early morning by staying overnight in a tent, with friends, colleagues and loved ones. Es­pecially, they enjoy taking photos of nature. The view of the sea of clouds can be seen in Nay Pyi Taw, PyinOoLwin and Kalaw,” said a person who provides trav­el service.

Many people have planned to go on vacation in PyinOoL­win, Taunggyi, Kalaw, Bagan, Kyaiktiyo, Hpa-an, Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Bago, Chaungtha and Ngwehsaung in the coming New Year holidays, and bookings for hotel rooms and bungalows have already been made, predicting the number will rise, according to the tourism community.

“We’ve planned a three-night-four-day trip to Mon and Kayin states in the coming hol­idays,” said a woman who pre­pares a planned trip.

During this year’s Kayin New Year and Christmas hol­idays, the number of visitors arriving also increased, and hotels in some popular tourist destinations were full. — MT/ZS
