THE Weaving and Vocational Training School (Taunggyi) is inviting enrolment in a one-year yarn and textile profi­ciency course and a six-month handloom weaving course for the 2026 Academic Year.

 

The one-year yarn and textile course will be conduct­ed between 1 January and 31 December 2026 at the Weaving and Vocational Training School (Taunggyi), SME Department under the Ministry of Cooper­atives and Rural Development. The maximum number of train­ees is only 20 for this course. Those who have completed the middle school are eligible to join the course.

 

Furthermore, the six-month handloom weaving course will be open from 1 Jan­uary to 30 June 2026, with a limited number of ten trainees. Those who have completed the primary school are eligible to apply for this course.

 

The trainees between 16 and 25 years old must be un­married and have passed ele­mentary school. The education certificate and the ward admin­istrator’s verification must be provided. The location of the training school is in Yayayek­win Ward, East Ring Road of Taunggyi.
