When a truck carrying the gravel was passing through the bridge situated in Kyettunkhin Ward-2 in Oktwin Township, Bago Region at about 5:30 pm on 10 July, the bridge was collapsed, according to the sources.

But no casualties were reported in the incident. The bridge which links Kyettunkhin Ward-2 to letswat village tract is constructed on Yetchaung creek in Kyettunkhin Ward-2 in the Township.

The wooden bridge measuring 20 ft. in length and eight ft. in width was constructed with funds allotted by regional government. Reconstruction works of the bridge are being carried out by officials.—Township IPRD
