Chairman of the State Administration Coun­cil, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, the Yangon Region Chief Minister, the commander of Yangon Command and offi­cials, inspected efforts to ensure proper flow of water along both sides of Yangon-Pathein Road in Hlinethaya Township of Yangon Region yesterday morning.

The Senior General inspect­ed upgrading of drains along both sides of Yangon-Pathein Road in Hlinethaya Township to ensure proper flow of water, and construction of pedestrian ways. After hearing the reports of officials, the Senior Gener­al gave guidance on keeping both sides of the road neat and tidy, meeting road character­istics, unblocking drains, and construction of drains in sys­tematic calculation to ensure smooth flow of water through outlet channels.

The Senior General ob­served upgrade of drains along both sides of Nyaungdon Road and No 4 Highway in Shwepyi­tha Township, and expansion of the motor road in a motorcade. — MNA/TTA
