ON 7 October, the last day of the Thadingyut Festival and the MSME market, huge crowds gathered in the People’s Square in Yangon, where the event was taking place.
This lighting festival and the MSME sales were organized by the Yangon Region Government from 4 to 7 October.
“The festival is being held from 8 am to 10 pm every day, and the materials produced in Yangon region by MSMEs, including food and marine products, are sold,” said an official.
During the four days of the festival, the Yangon Region government donated more than 40,000 Satuditha meal boxes to the visitors, including 10,000 boxes of fried egg and rice on the last day, 7 October. — Htun Htun/ZN
