Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Af­fairs U Than Swe met officials, ambassadors, directors-gener­al, and staff members from the departments concerned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Than Swe highlighted that this meeting was the second meeting for the staff to present difficulties they face openly and put forward sug­gestions; government staff need to fulfil their duties efficiently; and learning capacity, hard work, good communication, fair and just governance and good man­agement are essential to create a happy and successful workplace.

Afterwards, attendees pre­sented their needs and sugges­tions, and officials from relevant departments explained the con­ditions that could be fulfilled. The Deputy Prime Minister conclud­ed the meeting after coordinat­ing the necessary matters. — MNA/TS
