State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae received the delegation led by Mr Carl Johan Orrenius Skau, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operation Officer of the World Food Programme (WFP) yesterday in the reception hall of the Union Minister’s office.
They cordially discussed the cooperation of the World Food Programme (WFP) in providing humanitarian aid in Myanmar.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Maj- Gen Toe Yi, Permanent Secretary U Khaing Tun Oo, WFP Asia-Pacific Regional Director Mr John Aylieff, and Myanmar Resident Representative Mr Stephen Anderson from the World Food Programme (WFP). — MNA/TS
