Kyaukse, 13 March

Fire broke out at around 12:15 pm on March 13 in Suugone Ward in the Town of Kyaukse, Mandalay Region, and damaged a house.

The fire was believed to have started from an electric short circuit connecting to an Air Conditioner installed in the home of U Khin Maung Soe.

Firefighters from the township Fire Services Department led by Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Aung Zaw Oo rushed to the scene to fight the fire in collaboration with five police members and 20 auxiliary firefighters with the use of two fire engines and one water tanker, and the blaze was completely extinguished at about 12:22 pm. But no casualties were reported in the house fire.—District IPRD
