To enrich fish resources and improve fish production, the Fisheries Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted a ceremony to free fish species into Bago-Sittoung Canal in Kandaw Ward in the town of Waw, Bago Region this morning.

The Bago District Fisheries Department Head U Zaw Myint Naing, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Min Ko Ko and departmental officials, the Township Fisheries Department head U Thein Ko Ko Tun and staff and other relevant officials added a total of 200,000 newborn fishes in the Bago-Sittoung Canal. — Aung Myat Lin (IPRD)
