A team led by the chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) donated stationery and an educational fund to seven monasteries as a donation for early Waso.
Yesterday morning, the association visited the Tipitaka Yaw Sayadaw to donate stationery and an educational fund worth K3.5 million to 117 student monks residing at the Maha Visuddhayon monastery in Bahan Township, Yangon, during the Buddhist Lent.
Similarly, a team led by the secretary of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) donated stationery and an educational fund to the Pansanikaya Sasana monastery in Yankin Township on 11 July. — MNA/MKKS
