During the winter crop season, agricultural officials, in cooperation with local sunflower farmers, are conducting awareness programs. These initiatives focus on expanding cultivated acreage, improving yields, preventing pest and disease infestation, applying Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and selecting high-quality seeds.
The increase of sunflower cultivation will not only meet local oil demand but also raise farmer’s incomes and improve livelihoods through surplus sales.
