Tatmadaw’s sports competition opened in Nay Pyi Taw

The sports competition of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) was opened yesterday at Zeyya Thiri Tatmadaw sports ground in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
 

Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony.
 

During the opening ceremony, Tatmadaw troops along with the 17 sport teams took place in the sports ground followed by the opening of the ceremony by cutting the ceremonial ribbon by Adjutant-General Lt-Gen San Oo and Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Maj-Gen Myint Maw.


Afterwards, the senior general delivered the opening speech.
Next, in the football competition, the Commander-in-Chief Office team beat the Office of the Commander of Nay Pyi Taw team 2-0.


The Sports competition will be ongoing till 28 January and will include colorful sport events: boxing, Sepak takraw, track and field, Parasports event, Chinlone, men’s and women’s Volleyball, men’s and women’s Judo, Swimming, Weightlifting and Bodybuilding contest, Wushu, Karatedo, Myanma Thaing and Taekwondo according to the statement with the Commander-in-Chief Office.
