29351 students attend schools in Pwintbyu Township for 2024-2025 Academic year

In order not to lose learning opportunities, all Basic Education Schools in Pwintbyu Township of Magway Region have been reopened their doors since June 3 in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Education.

As of now, a total of 29351 students in the Township are attending their respective classes peacefully and happily, according to the Township Education Officer’s Office.

There are a total of 169 basic education schools including ten high schools, 20 sub-high schools, two middle schools, 12 sub-middle schools, ten post-primary schools, 107 primary schools, five sub-primary schools and three monastic education schools.

In order to study peacefully, the government provides students ranging from elementary to high schools with school uniform, textbooks, exercise books and stationery free of charge.—Hlaing Win Lay
