As of June 23, a total of 298 students including 285 students aged between five and 12 and 13 students aged 12 and above received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Shanywarthit sub-Township, Kayin State.
There are 369 students who are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine in Shanywarthit Township. Out of them, 198 students were vaccinated against COVID-19 pandemic so far. Medical workers scheduled to give the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the students from July 5 this year.
Healthcare workers continue to vaccinate COVID-19 vaccine to the remaining local people from four village tracts in Shanywarthit sub-Township in Kayin State.—Zin Lay (IPRD)
