2nd flooding in Kyaikmaraw Tsp. causes some schools to relocate to safety places

Starting form 25 August, torrential rains that hit Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State forced the water level of Attaran River to reach 454 cm this morning.

 

Accordingly, water entered into the low-lying areas as a second time. Therefore, Kyaikmaraw youth philanthropic organization are helping to relocate the students and teaching materials in Basic Education High School (Branch) to safety places.

 

In addition, as the water also entered into the low-lying area in Shin Saw Pu Ward, the local people are afraid of experiencing the flood again. However, some are relocating to safety places.
