3 injured as truck overturns in Dekkhinathiri Township

Three people were injured after a vehicle overturned on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
    

The truck with two women aboard carrying illegal timber logs hit a aluminum median strip and overturned as one of its back tires got a puncture near Rabein Village, Dekkhinathiri Township at about 3:55 p.m. on 20 December. Two people including the driver sustained severe injuries and one other was slightly injured in the incident.
    

The injured people were sent to a public hospital in Nay Pyi Taw and the driver identified as Myo Min, 40 years old has been charged under the Forest Law.—MOHA
