449 more Myanmar migrant workers including 279 men and 170 women who returned from Thailand entered in to Myanmar via No.(1) Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge on 9 December.
The returnees were welcomed by Deputy Administrator of Myawaddy District General Administration Department U Aung Chan Nyein and members at the bridge and shared knowledge about the risks of COVID-19 pandemic, and sent to the designated Quarantine centers.
Healthcare workers provided necessary assistance and free medical check-ups to the returnees to go back homes.—Man Than Shwe Mying
