5 injured after six-wheeled truck crashes in Mongpyin Twsp

Five people were injured after a six-wheeled truck overturned in Mongpyin Township, Shan State, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
    

The accident took place near mileposts 538/9 on the Taunggyi-Kengtung Road in Mongpyin Township at about 4 p.m. on 13 June. The truck carrying rice bags plunged into a 10 ft. deep ravine on a mountain slope after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle was driven by Tun Zaw Aye, 25, from Kokkukan Village, TadaU Township in Mandalay Region with five people onboard.
    

The five were hurt in the incident and the driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.
