An earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitude jolted 145 km north-northeast of Buala, Solomon Islands at 7:25 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 6.9346 degrees south latitude and 160.1156 degrees east longitude.
