634 Myanmar migrant workers from Thailand return through Myawady border on 12 July

A total of 634 Myanmar migrant workers returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady Border yesterday amidst COVID-19.
 

Up to yesterday, 634 returnees—396 men and 238 women— returned with their own arrangement, and the local authorities welcomed them at Maesok and transported them in buses to the quarantine centres in respective regions and states in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines.
 

From 1 May to 12 July, 46,337 migrant workers have returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge-2.—Htein Lin Aung (IPRD)
