6th Myanmar-India Army to Army Staff Talks held in Nay Pyi Taw

Lt-Gen Ko Ko Oo of the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers and a delegation led by India’s Joint Director-General of Military Intelligence Maj-Gen Charanjeet Singh Dewgun, YSM, ADG MI (A), attended the Sixth Myanmar-India Army to Army Staff Talks held at Park Royal Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

 

Lt-Gen Ko Ko Oo of the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army) and India’s Joint Director-General of Military Intelligence Maj-Gen Charanjeet Singh Dewgun, YSM, ADG MI (A), first made greeting speeches, respectively. The two sides then continued the discussion, read out decisions made at the meeting and completed undertakings.

 

The two leaders also exchanged gifts and had a documentary photo taken.

 

Lt-Gen Ko Ko Oo of the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army) hosted a dinner for the delegates of the Indian Armed Forces.

 

During the visit to Myanmar, the Indian Armed Forces delegation visited Uppatasanti Pagoda, Maravijaya Buddha Image, and Memorial to Fallen Hero and Gems Museum in Nay Pyi Taw.

 

Moreover, they paid a visit to the Inlay Lake in Nyaungshwe Township, Shan State (South), Bogyoke Aung San Market and Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. — MNA/KTZH
