Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Loikaw Branch) is disbursing agricultural loans to farmers in Mese Township, Bawlakhae District, Kayah State at Township OSS office starting from 7 June.
The bank is disbursing agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy plantation and K 100,000 per acre of other crops. This year, the interest rate of agricultural loans is 5 percent, according to Loikaw Bank Manager U Zaw Min Khaing.
A total of 55 farmers in the township were disbursed agricultural loans for a total of 170 acres of paddy fields.
