ATA sewing machines store owners donate household goods, masks to low-income people

Mogaung, May 12

Owners of ATA store which deals in sewing machines donated household goods and facial masks to low-income households from Natgyigone ward, Mogaung town at the town hall in the town of Mogaung in Kachin state this morning.

The household goods donated by the store owners included five kinds of foodstuff such as rice, edible oil, peas, onion and salt.

Due to the closures of businesses amid the outbreak of Covid-19, low-income people are facing difficulties in finding money for essential foods. So, we are donating them what we can, said the owner of the store.  The donors provided household goods to 52 low-income households.—Than Lwin Oo (Mogaung)
