Ataran Bridge (Sabalgu) in Kyaikmaraw inaugurated

A ceremony to launch the Ataran Bridge (Sabalgu) in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State was held this morning.

 

First, Mon State Chief Minister Dr. Aye Zan and officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the bridge and sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription. Then the officials observed the bridge. 

 

The bridge which is 2113 ft and 2 inches in length and 34 ft and six inches in width was constructed starting from 30 December 2018 and it was inaugurated on 3 November, 2020. Upon completion, it will bring the socioeconomic development of local people in 158 villages in the township.
