THE Ayeyawady Region government has announced that maize produced within Ayeyawady Region will be directly exported to Ranong Port in Thailand via the Pathein Industrial Port.
Strategy Win Trading Company and AEG Company will jointly export 1,800 tonnes of maize in June under a direct shipment arrangement.
In the coming financial year, maize produced in Ayeyawady Region will continue to be directly exported to Thailand and other foreign countries via the Pathein Industrial Port.
Imported goods from abroad will likewise be directly brought into the country through the same port, according to the Ayeyawady Region government. — ASH/MKKS
