BAGO Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win met local farmers in Phaye Village, Thanatpin Township yesterday, and discussed measures to reduce chemical fertilizer use, promote natural fertilizer production and use, grow beans as intercropping crops, and achieve target yields for various crops.

He also provided necessary agricultural inputs to farmers and coordinated support for their needs.

Later, the chief minister observed collective mon­soon rice cultivation using agricultural machinery pro­duced, distributed and sold within Bago Region, including potable transplanting machines and seeders. — Region IPRD/KZL
