Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein and wife donated cash to the prsiding Sayadaw of Wailuwun Monastery and committee members for construction of a religious edifice being built in Monhla Township on 29 December.
The regional chief minister and his family donated Ks. 1 million and President of Myanmar Mudithar Foundation U Tin Maung Naing and wife also made Ks. 1 million contributions to the Sayadaw and construction committee members and shared merits gained.
A two-storey religious edifice measuring 120 ft. in length and 60 ft. in width is under construction in Ward-6 in Minhla Township.—Tin Soe (Bago)
