A basic fish breeding and fish hatching course was opened at a hatchery in Thaton, Mon State this morning. The training course is the eight of its kind conducted by the Department of Fisheries.
On the occasion, Mon State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Transportation U Tun Htay delivered an address. The course instructors give different practical and theoretical methods and trainings about fish farming, hatching, and breeding to the trainees.
The three-day training course is being attended by 30 students from the University of Mawlamyine, fish breeders and farmers.—Thet Oo (Thaton)
