Sponsored by Orient Pearl Co. Ltd and Less Walk Organization, a ceremony to donate bicycles to poor high school students was held at the hall of Pyinnya Beikman in B.E.H.S in the town of Kyunsu, Tanintharyi Region yesterday.
First of all, U Kyi Min from Less Walk Organization clarified the purposes of the donation of bicycles for poor students in the township.
After wards, officials from Orient Pearl Co. Ltd and Less Walk Organization handed over 62 bicycles to poor students in B.E.H.S in Kyunsu. Orient Pearl Co. Ltd and Less Walk Organization also donated 1000 bicycles to poor students from 159 Basic Education Schools in Tanintharyi Region, according to the companies.
Also present on the occasion were an official from the Township Education officer’s Office, teachers, students, it is learnt.—Si Thu Aung (Kyunsu)
