A book fair and exhibition was jointly conducted in Thasi Township, Mandalay Region by the Township Information and Public Relations Department and Thukhabon Publishing House this morning.
First, MP U Aung Kyaw Oo of Regional Hluttaw, MP U Than Soe of Pyithu Hluttaw, MP U Kyaw Thiha of Amyotha Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Zaw Lin Maung, Deputy Township Education Officer U Tint Baw and writer Ye Shan formally opened the book fair and looked around the exhibition.
The aim of the book fair is to provide an opportunity to schoolchildren and bookworms to buy various books easily. A book fair with a total of 20 book stores continue until 12 August starting from 8 am to 8 pm.
In addition, the festival includes competitions such as color filling, drawing, story-telling, impromptu talks and other games.
