Booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine administered to people in Myawaddy

Myawaddy, 14 February

As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, the government conducts vaccination against COVID-19 at Myawaddy people’s hospital in the town of Myawaddy of Kayin State this morning.

The officials gave booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine(Pfizer) to the government employees and local people including people aged 18, patients suffering from chronic diseases, elderly people aged 50 and above and pregnant women at the hospital in line with COVID-19 regulations.

Medical workers will continue the inoculation processes in the Town as planned, according to the township Department of Public Health. — Zar Phyu Win(IPRD)
