As part of efforts to contain the transmission of COVID-19, vaccination against COVID-19 has been carried out by medical workers from Department of the District Public Health at the meeting hall of people’s hospital in the town of Myingyan, Mandalay Region since May 23.
"We started COVID-19 booster dose vaccination (Pfizer) process at Myingyan People’s Hospital starting from May 23. The booster dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to a total of 1575 people including civil servants aged 18 and over, patients suffering from chronic diseases aged between 40 and 60 and pregnant women and people aged 60 and above until June 20,’’ said Dr. Zin Mar Than Tun, Deputy Director of the District Department of Public Health.
Booster shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are being given to people in the Township by the employees from the District Department of Public Health, and healthcare services are also being provided to those who have been vaccinated.—Kyaw Swar Hein (District IPRD)
