A ceremony to hand over a new school building at No.2 Basic Education High School in Hakha Township, Chin State to Education Department was held at the school this morning.
The building was opened by Speaker of Chin State Hluttaw U Zo Bawi, State Minister for Social Affairs Pau Lun Min Thang, Executive Director from Daw Khin Kyi’s Foundation U Moe Zaw Oo and Deputy Director from the State Education Officer’s Office. They then observed around the new building.
Next, State Minister for Social Affairs gave remarks and an executive director clarified the purpose of construction of the building. Then proper documents relating to the building were handed over to Hakha Township Education Officer and the State Minister for Social Affairs presented honor of certificate to the executive director from the foundation. Afterwards, Speaker of State Hluttaw and wife provided K 1 million to Daw Khin Kyi’s Foundation.
