Canadian donor-financed school facility handed over to Education Dept.

A handing over ceremony of a new school facility was held at a basic education middle school in Thannutaw Village, Myaing Township in Magway Region on 6 July.
    

 

The 80 ft. long, 30 ft. wide structure was built by Mr. John from Canada under the 100 schools project. The donor handed over documents related to the new school building to an official from the Department of Education.
    

 

On the occasion, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Kyaw Swe, the township education officer and Township Administrator U Thant Zin Khaing formally opened the new school by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.—Sein Myaing
