ACCORDING to the Nay Pyi Taw Development Commit­tee, upgrading works at the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Garden and greening projects at the Mingala Theikdhi Park are currently underway.

 

During an inspection tour, U Kan Myint Than – Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Develop­ment Committee, and mayor – stated that, as the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Garden is located in the heart of the city and serves as an iconic landmark, upgrading works must be carried out using modern techniques to meet high quality standards. He also emphasized the need to ensure the long-term sustainability of completed structures, maintain water cleanliness within the park, and keep the gardens lush and beautiful. Furthermore, he highlighted that utmost priority must be given to the safety of local and foreign tourists, civil servants, and members of the public who come to relax.

 

Following this, the Nay­pyitaw Council Chairman and party proceeded to inspect the Mingala Theikdhi Park in Zabuthiri Township. During the visit, the mayor instruct­ed officials to take proper care to ensure the park re­mains permanently beautiful and pleasant, given that it is a recreational space for the general public. — TWA/KNN
