A car accident took place on Myitkyina-Shwebo highway between taungni and Kanyin Myaing villages in Mogaung township, Kachin state yesterday evening.
According to the information, policemen rushed to the accident scene to inspect the damage. A 22-wheeled truck from Mandalay to Myitkyina hit a brick platform and was pulled to the right side of the road after the driver tried to avoid an oncoming car.
The policemen pressed charges against the driver named Thiha, 22, for careless driving.—Win Naing( Kachin Myay)
