Khin-U, 30 June
Officials dispensed social pension to senior citizens above 85 years old in the town of Khin-U, Sagaing Region on 29 June on a door to door basis.
Under this cash aid program, elderly people above 85 years old in the town received K 60000 each including social pension for the months of April, May and June and additional cash aid amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in the township.
Also present on the occasion were the Region Hluttaw Representative Daw Thein Thein Kyu, Chairman of the township management committee U Cho Lin Aung and the township Deputy Administrator U Aung Ko Lat.
