The township Department of Health provided pregnant women and children below two years old at its office in Shanywathit, Hpa-an District, Kayin State this morning.
First, medical staff from Shanywathit Heath Department gave speeches and clarified the purpose of the provision of cash aid for pregnant women and children below two years old.
Then, they provided K 45000 each to pregnant women and children below two years old for three months in the town of Shanywathit.
Altogether – 32 people including 13 pregnant women and 19 children below two years old from the town received the cash assistance.—Zin Lay, IPRD
