A fire broke out in Doenwe village, Doenwe village-tract in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw at about 2:30 am today.
Due to the fire, fire victims were evacuated to Doenwe monastery and they were provided cash aids and rescue items by officials from Nay Pyi Taw Department of Disaster Management at the monastery at about 10:30 am.
Director from Nay Pyi Taw Department of Disaster Management U Kyaw Kyaw Tun, Deputy Township Administrator U Soe Moe Kyi, Township Officer from Township Fire Services Department U Myo Zeyar Wai and department officials provided K 2,300,000 for house repair, K 102,900 for foodstuff and 14 rescue kits to 14 households who facing the risk of fire.
