A ceremony to provide cash assistance to households without regular income in the town of Tontar, Kengtung District, Shan State (East) was held at the office of respective Ward Administrator this morning.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is providing cash aids to elderly people and households with irregular income via respective Ward Administrators and it is the third of its kind. In the town of Tontar, there are a total of 33 households with irregular income and they were provided with K 20,000 per household.
