A cash contribution ceremony to the internally displaced people (IDPs) from Paletwa Area was held at the meeting hall of the local government office in Haka, the capital city of Chin State on 15 July.
Speaking on the occasion, the donor from Ishikswa Co Ltd said that she is very pleased with providing cash assistance to the IDPs, expressing her gratitude to the local government for cooperation. She pledged to make similar donation in the future and presented cash assistance to the IDPs via Chin State Minister for Planning and Finance U Wi Kaw who returned a certificate of honour to the benefactor.
Also present on the occasion were Chin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Han Win Aung and departmental officials.—IPRD
