Chin State government provides rice to Tedim Tsp.

As part of effort to control the spread of COVID-19, Minister for Chin state Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang, the Amyotha Hluttaw Representative Pu Gin Kam Lian and the township Administrator U Hla Soe provided 160 bags of rice to Kaptel Village where the COVID-19 case was found on 23 March in Chin State.

First of all, Minister of Chin state Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang gave a speech and call on the villagers to follow the rules which imposed by the Ministry of Health and Sports. Then, the State Social Affairs Minister shared knowledge about the dangers of COVID-19.

Afterwards, village Administrator U Do Za Thaung spoke words of thanks to officials from the State Government and Donors who donated foodstuffs to Kaptel Village amid the outbreak of COVID-19. The provision of rice is the fourth of its kind in the village. As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, local authorities imposed lockdown measures in Kaptel Village from March 27 to May 14.
