A team of Chinese Docudrama shot documentary and travelogue films about social life, and natural scene archipelago sites in Kawthoung from 21 to 23 April.
The Chinese docudrama team, conducted shooting the beautiful scenes on a span of Kawthoung islands, including the Satan, the Nyaung U Phee, the Pheelar, the Myin Khwar, the Cocks Comb, where they shot the Variety Show Program in cooperation with Exploring Myanmar Culture & Tourism Organizations.
From 1 to 3 April, the Chinese Docudrama shot documentary films at the Shwezigon pagoda, the Ananda pagoda, the Tharabar Gate and the Minisithu market in Bagan. They continued their documentary films in the Shan State (South), staying at the Novotel Hotel in Inle region, performances at the Inle Dreaming Music Festival, selling fried chicken at the Nyaungshwe market on 5-7 April. They then took documentary films about the pilgrims of the Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon Splash Walk Thingyan around the Maha Bandoola Park and the Kandawgyi Park, preparatory works and arrangements of the Harky Restaurant and the Burma Bistro Restaurant on 15-20 April.
With a view to attracting foreign film companies to the country, the Ministry of Information has reduced the service charges for filming since 1st April, 2019.— Myo Myint Aung (FDC)
