Civil servants in Hsihseng get vaccine against COVID-19

Health officials from the Township Department of Public Health gave the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer) to civil servants aged 50 and above in Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, southern Shan State yesterday.

Health officials measured the body temperatures, blood pressure and oxygen levels of civil servants before the vaccination.

COVID-19 vaccine (Pfiver) should be administered at least 6 months after the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine. As of January 26, a total of 154 people including 18 government employees aged 50 and above, 79 people aged 65 and above, 56 people with chronic diseases aged 18 and above and a pregnant woman were given the vaccine.—Khun Aung (Naungtayar)
