With the aim of ensuring public transportation, a concrete bridge is being built with funds of Community-Driven Project in Kyonemadi village, Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State.
The bridge which is 23 ft in length, 18 ft in width and 7ft and 6 inches in height is being built at a cost of K 27,000,000. The construction is being conducted by officials from the Township Department of Rural Development, Community-Driven Project and local residents. Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 525 local residents, according to Township Information and Public Relations Department.
